As Halloween approaches, maharishi is dropping its “Skeletal Truth” capsule collection. The selected pieces feature psychedelic skeleton artwork by Utagawa Kuniyoshi, a master of ukiyo-e woodblock prints and paintings who worked in Japan in the mid-1800s.
The capsule includes vintage-inspired sportswear, custom pants and utility vests. Updated in organic cotton twill, the tracksuit jackets are adorned with intricate embroidery of Kuniyoshi’s skeleton, along with maharishi branding and the phrase “94 Till Death.” Matching pants sport the same skeletal detailing on the back of the legs.
This season’s new M65 Utility Vest is also showcased in the Skeletal Truth capsule. Constructed with vegetable-dyed Japanese nylon, the vest is informed by adjustable webbing straps and multiple front pockets that combine both function and style. Black and white T-shirts are printed with golden skeletal imagery; the shimmering prints contrast with the T-shirts’ monochrome colorways, elevating a classic silhouette.
Take a look at the “Skeletal Truth” capsule above. The collection will be available at 6 a.m. EST starting October 18 on maharishi’s website and at in-store New York and London locations.
