LEGO Visits Jurassic Age With Latest Dinosaur Fossil Set
Complete with a paleontologist minifigure.

LEGO has traveled back in time to the Jurassic Age for its latest Ideas release, creating a museum-style Dinosaur Fossil set.
Consisting of 910 pieces, the set is catered to natural history enthusiasts, with three dinosaur fossil figures: a Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Triceratops, and Pteranodon. All three are scaled at 1:32, and as the biggest model in the set, the T-Rex measures at over seven inches tall and a whopping 15 inches in length. Each skeletonized fossil figure also comes complete with a black base stand along with its very own plaque, just as if they were being displayed in a natural history museum. Accompanying the three beasts is a human skeleton figure also resting on a display stand, as well as a paleontologist minifigure along with all his equipment, such as a hammer, magnifying glass, mug, and miniature bones.
For those interested in LEGO’s Ideas Dinosaur Fossil set, it will be available November 1 on lego.com for a retail price of $60 USD. In the time being, you can take a detailed look at the entire set in the gallery above.
