Blending the familiar with the futuristic.

After delivering its Spring/Summer 2020 collection inspired by Richard Serra’s steel sculpture series, Copenhagen-based brand HELIOT EMIL has dropped a drawstring vest for the Fall/Winter season.

The sartorial imprint continues to imbue retrofuturistic elements into its garments, informing the asymmetrical vest with silver-tone hardware, zip pockets and tonal stitching. Combining technical details with a deconstructed silhouette, HELIOT EMIL creates a unique layering piece for the cold-weather season, including utilitarian upgrades such as the carabiner keyring and front zip pouch. Like its Integrated Vest Shirt, HELIOT EMIL continues to experiment with traditional silhouettes, further emphasizing the juxtaposition between the familiar and the futuristic.

The Drawstring Detail Vest is available now on HBX’s site for $290 USD.

Elsewhere, Fxxking Rabbits embeds a backpack into its FW19 Photographer Vest.
