David Beckham & adidas Release UltraBOOST 2019
Celebrating 20 years since Man Utd’s treble.
adidas has just teased the release of its upcoming running shoe with long-time partner David Beckham. This pair of UltraBOOST 2019 celebrates the Englishman’s lustrous career as a footballer, mainly by paying homage to his time at Manchester United.
The collaboration commemorates the Red Devils’ most successful season (1998 – 1999) in which they won the treble trophies — Premiere League, FA Cup, and the UEFA Champions League. The running shoe features a white Primeknit upper, a white lace cage with reflective “Three Stripes” branding, and “DB99” printed in black on the BOOST midsole. The trainer is finished off with a fluorescent-red 3D heel frame, Continental rubber outsole, and a Torsion bar.
Currently only available on adidas’ Chinese web store, the David Beckham x adidas UltraBOOST 2019 will sell for ¥1,499 RMB (approximately $210 USD) on October 16.
