Beats by Dr. Dre has just announced its newest headphone, the Solo Pro. The sleek new silhouette continues the brand’s popular Solo line, which has sold over 30 million products to date. However, the Solo Pro adds a very notable feature: noise cancellation. According to Beats, the audio gear uses advanced algorithms to adjust to the wearer’s listening environment via the brand’s Pure ANC technology and automatically adjusts fit to avoid air leakage caused by things like hair and movement.

In addition to noise-canceling technology and Apple Sharing, Beats promises enhanced acoustics, as well as voice pickup for calls and for its new “Hey Siri” functionality, which allows wearers to access Apple‘s operating system at any time. In terms of design, Beats redesigned its on-ear cushions to provide longer wear comfort and decided to leave the silhouette’s metal sliders exposed to add a mixed material look. Beats has also included Apple Audio Sharing, which allows multiple Beats users to share listening experiences together, a feature that can be used during activities like watching in-flight movies with friends or working out in a group.

Keeping with its goal to up the overall quality of design, Beats also partnered with Pharrell Williams to create the “More Matte” collection, which includes Dark Blue, Light Blue and Red matte finishes, which all do away with the smudge-encouraging shiny plastic used for past Beats products. Classic colors Black, Ivory and Gray will also be available.

The Solo Pro headphones are currently available for preorder on Apple’s website for $299.95 USD, and they will officially be available beginning October 30.

Elsewhere in tech, Apple’s iPhone SE 2 is reportedly launching at $399 USD.
