Entering the year with more surprises, The Shoe Surgeon debuts another pair of customized sneakers after the wild Air Jordan 1 “South Beach Beast”. This time around, it’s the Travis Scott x Jordan Brand AJ4 “Cactus Jack” that gets a makeover.

The renowned footwear craftsman ditches the university blue nubuck in favor of stippled, olive-colored ostrich leather to recreate the thorny surface of an actual cacti. Although the co-branded heels are carried over from the original version, the spray-painted eyelet wings and heel tabs are dipped black as a nod to the OG sneakers. The Sneaker Surgeon finishes his masterpiece by detaching the eyelet wings from the laces.

Priced at $3,500 USD, the Air Jordan 4 “Cactus Jack” will be released on January 5 at 8 a.m. PST, exclusively on theshoesurgeon.com.
