With Chinese New Year happening in February, adidas has unveiled its CNY-inspired collection. This time around, options include silhouettes like the Yung-96 and adidas Superstar. Both shoes are crafted in a red colorway which signifies “luck” and “happiness” in Chinese culture.

A stand out detail arrives in the form of an embroidered dragon face on the heel of each shoe, which is inspired by traditional lion dance costumes. The Yung-96 model sees more colors with added neon-yellow detailing, while the Superstar is kept simple in white and red.

Take a look at the Chinese New Year collection above and stay tuned for more info as it arrives.
