With Chinese New Year just around the corner, Pharrell and adidas recently gave the Solar Hu Glide a festive makeover.

The mesh forefoot, lacestay and heel are all coated in vermilion while the midfoot region features a black overlay that expresses a gilded grid pattern. A black sole panel separates the upper from the full-length BOOST sole, which is paired with a contrasting rubber outsole. The gold borders throughout the iteration, while an “adidas” motif on the tongue tab and white “Hu” logos serve to finish off the celebratory model.

Priced at $150 USD, the Pharell x adidas SOLAR HU “Chinese New Year” will be available on adidas.com and at select retailers in the coming weeks.
