Pharrell expands on his inspirational adidas line with a new Chinese New Year-themed Crazy BYW.

The basketball-inspired silhouette welcomes a combination of red and gold, a hallmark of the holiday, with a large embroidery that reads “AMBITION” down the center. Additional details include: a scale-like pattern along its knitted upper that likely alludes to the dragon lore; Three Stripes branding can be seen at the forefoot and heel tab; and a white BOOST midsole, which comes encased in a translucent yellow material at the front.

The Pharrell x adidas Crazy BYW “Chinese New Year” is expected to launch in the coming weeks for $250 USD at select adidas retailers and adidas.com. In related news, you can see Derrick Rose debut his newest signature model, the adidas D Rose 10.
