Two months after Stefano Pilati launched Random Identities at SSENSE, the designer’s progressive new clothing line returns with a lookbook for its upcoming collection, “Heart Warmers.” Blending comfort with cutting-edge design, the goods gleefully blur the line between masculine and feminine with a wide array of revamped wardrobe staples.

A muted color palette of white, grey and olive keeps the adventurous looks grounded, with hefty 3.5-inch heeled boots weighing down a variety of quilted layers, including the brand’s signature Duvet Coat. Cropped bombers complement the trim white poplin shirts, with the military cleanliness undercut by black graphics and prints. Plaid mid layers, zipper-pocketed-shirts, folded-over jumpsuits and woven dresses aid in breaking up proportions, with zippers and slouchy cuts to encourage playful styling.

The new goods launch at SSENSE’s site tonight, 8 pm EST and at Dover Street Market on Jan 12.
