Japanese Billionaire Yusaku Maezawa Has the Most Retweeted Tweet After Promising Free Money
Barely beating out a tweet asking for free Wendy’s nuggets.

Zozotown founder and Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa set the record for the most retweeted tweet in the history of Twitter. The upcoming SpaceX Big Falcon Rocket moon traveler promised 100 randomly selected users one million yen ($9,250 USD) to whoever followed and retweeted the tweet.
The social media post included a picture of a New Year’s gift card with visuals that jokingly referenced E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial and his impending space escapade involving Elon Musk. The tweet currently holds over five million retweets and is only rivaled by the previous Twitter record holder, Carter Wilkerson’s tweet, which was about getting free Wendy’s chicken nuggets.
In other tech news, Elon Musk recently teased SpaceX’s starship test vehicle.
