Following a limited Craiglist drop, Martine Rose and Nike are now gearing up for the official launch of its collaboration. Leading the release will be Rose’s bulbous take on the Air Monarch IV footwear model.

Done in “White/Metallic Silver,” “Black/Black” and “Rose/Pink,” the collab express the lauded designer’s imaginative outlook on design, which apparently began with fitting a size 18 upper onto a size 9 sole unit. The inventive method created a deformed and distorted silhouette that maintains all the distinctive detailing of the Air Monarch IV. Simply finishing off the collaboration are Martine Rose logos printed onto the midfoot and insoles of the shoes.

Priced at $250 USD, Martine Rose’s take on the Nike Air Monarch IV is set to release at nike.com and select retailers January 12. If you’re still on hunting down a pair, GOAT has you covered.
