DJ Gabe C & R. Baron Debut the 'Best of AzChike & 1TakeJay' Mixtape
Two of the West Coast’s most talented new artists.
Last fall, 1TakeJay and Rucci came together for the collaborative The Winning Team project. Now, shining the spotlight on 1TakeJay and his close collaborator and R. Baron cohort AzChike, rising, talented West Coast sound architect DJ Gabe C serves up a special Best of AzChike and 1TakeJay mixtape.
“1TakeJay and AzChike have a major influence with the youth and LA culture with their street sound. There’s no party without a 1TakeJay or AzChike record,” DJ Gabe C tells us. Notably, 1TakeJay and AzChike are the latest flagship artists added the TK Kimbro-led R. Baron Group collective, which just inked deals with Asylum Records and Atlantic Records; TK Kimbro shows his support by serving as this mixtape’s host.
