'The Avengers' Stars Are Rumored to Help Host the Oscars
In addition to promoting the upcoming Marvel blockbuster.

Following Kevin Hart’s decision to step down from hosting, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences decided to go hostless for its 91st ceremony this coming February. However, it’s now reported the academy is looking toward the stars of The Avengers to help present the now “hostless” Oscars.
The idea would have the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chadwick Boseman, Mark Ruffalo, and more rotate at any given moment during the show. According to sources, several big stars from Marvel Studios were asked not to present at the Golden Globes to build hype for their appearance at the Oscars. The move would also further enhance the hype for the upcoming Avengers: Endgame, which hits theaters on April 26.
