Air Jordan 9 "UNC" Colorway Set to Arrive for All Star Weekend
Celebrating Jordan’s past and the host city for the 2019 NBA All Star Game.
The 2019 NBA All Star weekend is fast approaching in February, and with the much-anticipated event to be hosted in Charlotte, North Carolina, it’s no surprise that Jordan Brand already has some UNC colorways cooked-up. Today we are looking at an upcoming UNC colorway for the Air Jordan 9.
Inspired by Michael Jordan‘s time in North Carolina, and the fact that he largely owns the Charlotte Hornets, the shoe mainly sports white and midnight navy for its uppers and patent leather overlays. The Jordan “UNC” is highlighted with dark navy eyelets, complimented with crisp white laces. The shoes are finished with university blue Jumpman logos at the heel, midfoot and outsole, while the tongue sees “Air Jordan” text branding.
Priced at $190 USD the Air Jordan 9 “UNC” is set to release at select Jordan Brand retailers and at Nike.com on February 9.
