Versace Teams With 2 Chainz for Collaborative Clothing & Sneakers
Including an exclusive sneaker and loungewear capsule.
Versace follows its Fall/Winter 2019 runway presentation with a capsule collaboration in partnership with none other than 2 Chainz. Though the Italian house’s Chain Reaction sneaker wasn’t actually designed in collaboration with the rapper, 2 Chainz is such an avowed fan of the silhouette that he essentially co-opted it, yielding this new joint effort. A new iteration of the chunky sneaker is on hand, sporting a grey upper accented by dual zippers, an embossed crocodile-inspired neoprene collar and that iconic chain-inspired midsole. The shoe will drop alongside a capsule of athleisure-leaning menswear, exclusively available in America.
The limited “2 Chain Reaction” capsule and sneaker will drop on February 1 at Atlanta’s Wish Gallery and Versace’s website before going global on February 8.
