Steven Soderbergh's 'High Flying Bird' Trailer Takes on the Business of NBA Lockouts
A Netflix Original starring Zazie Beetz.
Netflix has released the trailer of Steven Soderbergh‘s first movie for the platform, High Flying Bird. The film features Zazie Beetz, André Holland, Kyle MacLachlan, Bill Duke, and is written by Moonlight‘s Tarell Alvin McCraney. Holland plays a sports agent attempting to use his client’s value as basketball players during a lockout to take control from the NBA and shift the league’s traditional power dynamic. He’s left with 72 hours to outmaneuver the big names behind the scenes to change the league permanently. There will also be appearances for actual NBA athletes like Karl-Anthony Towns, Donovan Mitchell, and Reggie Jackson.
