Sneakersnstuff and adidas Link up on the NMD R1 “Datamosh 2.0” Pack
Building off last year’s release.
Last spring, Sneakersnstuff and adidas got together on a datamoshing-inspired pack involving a pair of NMD R1 models, which featured digital graphic mashups emblazoned all throughout. With that in mind, both sides have decided to keep the tech motif in play, expanding upon this themed narrative to offer the new “Datamosh 2.0” pack.
adidas’s signature NMD R1 silhouette once again is called upon to reinterpret the act of datamoshing – “a process of data corrupting and manipulating where moving images are being moshed together to achieve visual effects.” Seen above in blue/black and red/green color schemes, both sneakers highlight distorted images throughout the majority of its uppers — artistically similar to last year’s release. To celebrate the launch, Sneakersnstuff will host a grand event in its New York City location just prior to the shoe’s drop. The collaborative Sneakersnstuff x adidas Originals “Datamosh 2.0” pack will make its debut online and at SNS’s Stockholm, London, Paris, Berlin and New York locations on September 22 for a price of $179 USD.
