Maison Margiela Designed a Sock Neck Variation of Its Signature Security Runner
Available in “Triple Black” and White/Navy color schemes.
Aside from its avant-garde garment collections, Maison Margiela has recently set the sneaker scene ablaze over the past few months, dropping a slew of noted footwear offerings — arguably for the Fusion Sneaker above all else. Earlier exploring the house’s Security silhouette back in May, an all-new high-top Sock Neck variation of the statement runner has since come into play.
Available in slick “Triple Black” and White/Navy palettes, a mix of leather and suede alternate throughout the upper, with a textured front bumper and heel counter adding material depth to the chunky silhouette. Other notable features include the sock-like collar, a distinct curled auxiliary lacing system complete with grosgrain-fashioned lace loops and the aggressively-treaded rubber outsole. Priced at $1,300 USD, the Maison Margiela Security Sock Neck runner is available now at H.Lorenzo.
