Following the release of his Nike Air Max Deluxe SK collaboration, Skepta has apologized to fans who missed out on the sneaker. Posting on Instagram, the London-born MC thanked everyone who had bought a pair and added that the sneaker selling out so quickly was usually “something to scream and celebrate about.”
Carrying on, however, Skepta revealed the downsides of the sneaker selling out, explaining that “honestly I’m not happy that so many of you miss out on being part of something I put so much emotion in.” Elsewhere in the message, Skepta hinted at more chances to get the Air Max Deluxe SK as well as the possibility of more Nike SkAIR collaborations in the future. Love and thank you to everybody that got a pair of #SkAIR today. Unfortunately, the #SkAIR 3 has sold out in main stores already. Generally this is something to scream and celebrate about but honestly I’m not happy that so many of you miss out on being part of something I put so much emotion in. There are a few boutiques that have the 3’s on hold so there is still chance, otherwise we are working on making the #SkAIR releases better. Apologies ?? Skep.
