John Elliott Takes on Nike's Blazer Mid Rebel for Spring/Summer 2019
The Rebel comes in four distinct colorways.
Following Virgil Abloh‘s deconstructed set of Blazers, John Elliott has his own rearranged Nike drop on the way. First seen at the designer’s Spring/Summer 2019 runway presentation, the shoe is served up in a quartet of colorways.
Like the Air Jordan 1 Rebel, the Blazer Rebel sports a twisting vamp and haphazardly rearranged detailing along the side. Notable features include a dangling Nike tag, reversed heel branding and stitched-on Swoosh, while a zipper on the medial side allows for easy access. Each of the four colorways touches on a distinct color palette, ranging from beige/black/white and tonal green/brown to navy/blue/black/white and monochrome black/white.
Keep an eye for the John Elliott x Nike Blazer Mid Rebel XX to hit Nike’s site on September 22 for $100 USD in women’s sizes only.
Meanwhile, imagery of an NBA x Nike Blazer Low recently surfaced.
