Justin Bieber Speaks Up Against Racism on Instagram
He also shows his support to Black Lives Matter.
Justin Bieber took to Instagram earlier today to speak up against racism and show his support of the Black Lives Matter movement. I am a white Canadian and I will never know what it feels like to be an African American,” he wrote. “But what I do know is I am willing to stand up and use my voice to shine light on racism, because it’s a real thing and it’s more prevalent now than I have ever seen in my lifetime. We are all Gods children and we are all equal.”
In the past, Bieber is known to shy away from speaking on socio-political issues but this seems to be changing. The Canadian pop star attended the Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief telethon alongside Beyoncé, Leonardo DiCaprio, Travis Scott, Justin Timberlake, Drake, Oprah, and others.
