FTP Elevates DC Shoes's Hefty E.Tribeka & Syntax Skate Sneakers
A fresh paint job for the beefy footwear.
Following the California brand’s graphic-loaded Spring/Summer 2018 collection, FTP has joined forces with DC Shoes for a selection of remastered skate silhouettes. Centering around both the retro Syntax and progressive E.Tribeka, the collaboration encompasses a variety of bi-color makeups. The E.Tribeka sports the most low-key colorways, available in white and black/grey iterations, with the upper utilizing mixed leather panels and printed “FTP” detailing for slight visual impact. Meanwhile, the Syntax is offered in three variants: black/purple/teal, white/black/grey and purple/red/black. All three sneakers boast the plastic heel guard, mixed leather/suede/mesh panels on the upper, a substantial DC logo on the lateral side and “FTP” embroidered at the heel.
The five pairs of elevated sneakers drop on September 22 via a pop-up in FTP’s native Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, Nike‘s skate-minded SB received a makeover in honor of New Orleans’ Humidity.
