Christine and the Queens Share Latest Bilingual Release, 'Chris'
A two-disc, French and English release.
Continuing her progressive exercise of pop music, fledgling French artist Héloïse Letissier, better known as Christine and the Queens, recently released her long-awaited sophomore album, Chris.
Picking up the masculine persona that the project is named after, Letissier offers 12 new cohesive tracks that deal with gender and sexuality in our contemporary society. Taking a more conceptual approach, the new album is introspective at times following choice inspirations from the pop tones of the late ’80s. Released as a dual disc EP, Chris is offered in English and French and serves as the latest chapter in the emerging artist’s dynamic career.
