Earlier this year, COMME des GARÇONS HOMME Plus invaded Paris Fashion Week, unveiling its themed “whimsical wonderland” collection, which saw models strut down the runway in elaborate fits, complete with savage beast-like masks and energetically-patterned outerwear. With select pieces now coming up for retail release, it’s time now to catch a closer look at the label’s Tiled Body jacket.

Superhero comic tiles immediately catch the eye — each of which are separated by odd-shaped sectionals with raw unfinished edges surrounding each animated scene. The sleeves, hood, and back, on the other hand, spotlight completely unrelated artwork, choosing to complement the aforementioned graphics with different colored stones embedded in a sand-filled surface.
