Travis Scott Executive Produced the ‘NBA 2K19’ Soundtrack
Sits down with King James to discuss the project.
Since releasing his Astroworld album earlier this month rapper Travis Scott has not slowed down, from gifting fans with new Cactus Jack merch, sharing $100,000 USD from his own bank account, and now it has been revealed the Houston rapper has executive produced the soundtrack for the upcoming NBA 2K19.
“It’s an honor,” Travis explained in the announcement video sitting alongside LeBron James. “I always like the chance to curate music to fit a lifestyle and 2K is definitely a lifestyle.” The Travis Scott-helmed NBA 2K19 soundtrack includes a number of songs from Astroworld album along with tracks from Bruno Mars, Cardi B, Migos, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Migos, Brockhampton, Higher Brothers, and more.
Along with curating the soundtrack, Scott will also also be appearing in the game as himself. NBA 2K19 releases September 11 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, and Nintendo Switch. Listen to the soundtrack below.
