Adsum Revisits Hockey’s Historic 1972 Summit Series in FW18 Lookbook
The Canada vs. Russia dogfight that changed the game forever.

New York-based lifestyle label Adsum returns to present new lookbook imagery for the upcoming fall/winter season, drawing creative influence from hockey’s historic 1972 Summit Series between Canada and Russia. Taking place throughout the Cold War, the eight-game series — played half on Canadian soil and half on Russian territory — was the first competition between both nations involving NHL pros. Needing all eight games to win, Canada claimed victory, tallying four wins, three losses and one tie.
A real-life hockey rink — bright red Zamboni and all — sets the stage for a cold-weather range chock full of seasonal staples. The lineup features lightweight outerwear, a quilted vest, cozy long-sleeve pullovers, hoodies, joggers, graphic T-shirts, caps and wool beanies. Check out the themed lookbook above and be sure to keep tabs on Adsum’s online shop for when the collection drops.
In case you missed it, here are this week’s drops you don’t want to miss out on.
