Richard Mille and Sylvester Stallone Come Together for the Tourbillon Adventure

Often in watchmaking, there are timepieces that fall in the “practical” category, and then there are watches that exist in the “we made this because we can” category — the Richard Mille RM 25-01 Tourbillon Adventure falls in the later. Supposedly born from the friendship between Richard Mille and Sylvester Stallone, the RM 25-01 is a watch that would fit right at home on the wrist of Rambo.
The robust 55mm watch features a chronograph function, power reserve indicator, a tourbillon, magnetic-shielded movement, titanium/carbon TPT case, and a very appropriate, camo-rubber strap. In terms of “Adventure” features, the watch has ingenious additions like a detachable compass; that is mirrored on the inside and can latch down — much like a hunting case on a pocket watch. It also has a bubble level at the 4 o’clock, and lastly, an emergency compartment at 2 o’clock that holds water-purifying tablets. Priced at $983,000 USD, Richard Mille will only be making 20 examples of the watch, and it will be available for order at Richard Mille flagships worldwide.
