Piet Aligns With Nike to Create a Golf-Inspired Air Force 1
Dubbed “Old Golf Shoes.”
Lifestyle label, Piet, is on record as the first Brazilian brand to officially align with Nike, as both sides recently linked up on a themed Air Force 1 Low. Simply titled “Old Golf Shoes,” the collaborative project called for a white AF1 Low, featuring a removable fringe overlay draped directly overtop of the lacing system, complete with co-branded emblems and technical specs.
Limited to just 40 pairs, each rendition is numbered with a mini Swoosh hitting the lateral side of one shoe and a coded inscription on the other, with an off-white-hued sole unit rounding out the design. Lastly, each pair sold will be placed in a special box with the phrase “Good Things Turn Yellow” on top — reminding its wearer what they can expect as the box ages. The Piet x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Old Golf Shoes” will make its debut sometime in September at Piet’s São Paulo-based outpost. Be sure to drop by the brand’s online shop for updates.
