Nike Expands Its Branding Techniques With New Air Max 97
More creative logo applications.

Nike‘s Air Max 97 appears to be working overtime this week, having dropped in a myriad of colorways, including “Midnight Navy/Habanero Red,” “Cone” and “Mustard,” amongst others. With this new release, Nike seems content to push its creative branding techniques forward, dousing the retro runner with more mini logos.
Dressed predominantly in black, the uppers alternate between leather and mesh with “AIR” emblems and Swoosh symbols — both in white — hitting the side areas, and then again emblazoned on the visible sole unit. Additional hits of white further break up the somber palette, as can be seen on the Swoosh-debossed midsole and heel pull tabs. Price and release date still has yet to be confirmed, however, this new Nike Air Max 97 is believed to make its debut later this fall.
In case you missed it, the KITH x Nike LeBron 15 “Closing Ceremony” launches this week.
