BOSS Reimagines Michael Jackson's Iconic 'Thriller' Suit
Offering a limited run of 100 pieces including graphic tees.
Following London’s National Portrait Gallery exhibition honoring the legacy of Michael Jackson, longstanding fashion house BOSS continues to pay homage to the late King of Pop’s birthday by unveiling a limited-edition suit and T-Shirt collection.
Inspired by the white BOSS suit worn by MJ on the Thriller cover, the German fashion brand took design references from the original suit’s silhouette, complete with an ‘80s-styled 3-button cuff, and slim notch lapels crafted from a lightweight twill. Limited to 100 pieces globally, the jacket is individually numbered and adorned with mother-of-pearl buttons, while the pants feature double pleats at the front.
In addition to the reinterpreted suits, the collection offers unisex cotton jersey tees cut in a slim fit with various Michael Jackson graphics. Three variations of the T-shirt include artwork by Graham Dolphin rewritten in his signature style, an artistic portrait rendering titled the “King of Pop,” and a silhouette print of MJ’s iconic dance pose.
