Kanye West Will Win the "Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award" at the 2015 MTV VMAs

As the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards are quickly approaching, the music network announced that Kanye West will be winning the “Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award” this year. If you didn’t already know, this is the award show’s highest honor, and have been presented to other music industry legends like Beyoncé, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, and more. As of now, it’s not certain whether or not ‘Ye will be performing during the VMAs, but he is nominated for his appearance on Big Sean’s John Legend-featured song “One Man Can Change The World.” Tune in the Miley Cyrus-hosted awards this Sunday night on 9 PM EST, and watch the promo video of the Kanye announcement above.
