2D Turns 3D in Gorillaz's Boogie-Filled "Strobelite" Music Video
Featuring Peven Everett.
Gorillaz has just released an official music video for “Strobelite” — a track from their most-recent Humanz album. Jamie Hewlett’s iconic illustrations of the virtual band come to life in a slew of neon-filled sequences. The three-minute clip directed by Raoul Skinbeck predominantly features 2D and Noodle dancing harmoniously to the sweet vocals of Peven Everett. Not to mention, the ever-sly Murdoc Niccals also makes an appearance, but Russell Hobbs is nowhere to be found.
Accompanying the video release, the band has also confirmed two new remixes, “Strobelite” by Kaytranada to drop on August 18 alongside a dancehall version of “Saturnz Barz” by Cadenza. Check out the music video above and let us know your thoughts.
