Burberry Looks to Its Archive With New “Thomas Burberry” Monogram
As well as a new Peter Saville-designed logo.

Following on from its ‘80s and ‘90s-inspired silk shirt, Burberry has continued to look back to its archives for a new “Thomas Burberry” monogram print. Named after the label’s founder, the new monogram was announced through a series of emails between graphic designer Peter Saville and Burberry’s Riccardo Tisci.
The print features a repeated ‘B’ logo on a gold background with orange lines linking the repeated ‘B.’ One of the images appears to show the print used on an invite for Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2019 show at London Fashion Week this September.
As well as revealing the “Thomas Burberry” monogram, Burberry also gave a first look at the house’s new logo. Designed by Peter Saville, the logo features a bolder and more-modern text than the previous branding, with “London England” in the same font.
