RZA Debuts the Trailer for His Star-Studded New Heist Film 'Cut Throat City'
Featuring T.I. Wesley Snipes, Terrence Howard and more.
Continuing to build his resume as a talented filmmaker, Wu-Tang Clan legend RZA has debuted the lead trailer for his next major cinematic venture: an action-packed, raw heist film known as Cut Throat City.
Notably, RZA’s Cut Throat City stars T.I., Wesley Snipes, Terrence Howard, Denzel Whitaker, Isaiah Washington, Demetrius Shipp Jr., Shameik Moore, Eiza Gonzalez, Kat Graham and Keean Johnson. The movie is said to revolve around the story of four childhood friends from New Orleans’ Lower Ninth Ward. Following the devastation wrecked by Hurricane Katrina, the four return home to find bleak prospects and decide to “pull off a daring heist in the heart of the city.” However, things quickly go south and they soon “find themselves on the run, hunted by two idealistic detectives and a neighborhood warlord who thinks the friends stole the heist money.” To deal with their dangerous situation, they decide to take on the casinos that have served as a blight on their community for many years.
