Yoko Ono Announces New Album 'Warzone' & Shares New Song
New LP drops on October 19.
Yoko Ono will drop a new album titled Warzone on October 19 via Sean Ono Lennon’s co-run label collective Chimera Music. This is her first album since 2013’s Take Me to the Land of Hell with the Plastic Ono Band. The 85-year-old icon also drops the title track for the album. The LP reimagines 13 tracks from Ono’s catalog, ranging between 1970 and 2009. The LP includes John Lennon’s 1971 single “Imagine.”
“I like to create things in a new way,” she said in a statement. “Every day things change.” Last year, she reissued three albums: Fly, Approximately Infinite Universe, and Feeling the Space.
