Nike Moon Racer to Land on Earth This August
Inspired by the Swoosh’s Moon Shoe from 1972.
Earlier this month we shared a first look at Nike’s upcoming Moon Racer silhouette; today the sneaker receives an official launch date. Resting atop a plush React midsole, the drop features two colorway choices of Black/White-Wolf Grey and Black/Sail-Volt. The upper’s construction is inspired by Nike’s Moon Shoe from 1972 and adds a moon graphic to each insole for small doses of flair. Added details include a moon print on the insole, debossed “N I K E” branding on the rear pull tab, and contrast stitching around the Swoosh.
Each retailing for $150 USD, the Nike Moon Racer arrives at select Nike stockists on August 2. Nike fans can also take a look at the upcoming Air Max 95/Air VaporMax mashup.
