EXCLUSIVE: Niia - Bored to Death (Christian Rich Remix)

You might not know Niia by name, but chances are you will pretty soon. The 26-year old vocalist and recent Los Angeles transplant is currently wrapping up her major debut album with Atlantic Records. Today, she shares a remix to her stand out single “Bored to Death” that co-written by Robin Hannibal (Rhye / Quadron) and Morgan Kibby (White Sea). Christian Rich made sure to keep the classics vibes intact while providing a little R&B/hip-hop flair to the mix. Niia also shared a little update with us which can seen below.
How would you describe your sound?

You guys have several records together, what’s the chemistry like working with Christian Rich?
What’s funny is we have never worked in a studio together. We met a few years back and really connected. We admire each other’s work and just started sending music back and forth to work on. That’s the beauty of our day and age.
What are your plans for the rest of 2016?
I’m hoping to finish up my album soon and then start creating visuals for the music. I’m also trying to become an amateur beekeeper this summer. We’ll see…
