Mel Gibson Is an Angry Ex-Con Protecting His Daughter in the New Trailer for 'Blood Father'

Mel Gibson continues his action movie streak in the new film, Blood Father, directed by Jean-François Richet. In this second trailer we see Gibson as an ex-con doing whatever it takes to protect his daughter from shady characters trying to kill her. The flick also stars Rogue One: A Star Wars Story actor Diego Luna and Shameless lead William H. Macy. Judging from this second teaser, it looks like viewers will get to see a thrill ride of a movie that’s sure to prove that Gibson still has the chops to hang with today’s biggest action stars. Expect to see guns, merciless bad guys, explosions and more guns in this surefire summer thriller.
Blood Father is set to release in theaters on August 25.
