On Thursday, July 12, Mac Miller surprised fans with the announcement of his new album, SWIMMING. In addition, Mac announced that the LP will be released on August 3. Now, just hours later, the Pittsburgh rapper dropped a new record and music video for “Self Care.” The record is melodic, seeing Mac half singing and half rapping on a trap instrumental. Since his last album The Divine Feminine, Mac has been showcasing his melodic side more.

The video, directed by Christian Weber, sees the Miller buried underground while he smokes a cig. He eventually digs his way out of a volcano while it explodes. Watch it above. In other news, The Internet released a new single titled “La Di Da” in anticipation of their upcoming album Hive Mind.
