Funimation Acquires Rights For North American Release of 'Dragon Ball Super: Broly' Movie
Coming to a theater near you.

After the title and poster for the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Broly film was revealed, Funimation® recently announced it has acquired the theatrical rights for the North American release of the movie.
Building on its 22-year long partnership with Toei Animation, Funimation® will also be handling the home release and video on demand broadcast rights for the film. Serving as the 20th Dragon Ball film, the story was written by original creator Akira Toriyama and will bring the popular Broly character into canon. Additionally, Dragon Ball Super: Broly will pick up where the TV series left off with a fateful meeting between Goku, Vegeta and The Legendary Super Saiyan.
Dragon Ball Super: Broly will begin screening in Japan on December 14 with a North American release coming in January of 2019. Stay tuned for more details when they become available.
