SSB Goku Fights SS4 Goku Xeno in First Episode of 'Dragon Ball Heroes' Anime
An evil saiyan named Kanba is also introduced.
In May 2018, V Jump announced that its popular arcade and trading card game Dragon Ball Heroes would get its own promotional anime. This past Sunday, July 1, the first episode premiered at Aeon Lake Town, a shopping mall in Koshigaya, Saitama and was uploaded to the game’s official website the same day. Titled “Goku vs. Goku! A Transcendent Battle Begins on the Prison Planet!,” the pilot episode introduced new characters Fu, a mutant from the Demon Realm, and Kanba, an Evil Saiyan interred by Fu on the Prison Planet. The prison planet is a set of seven planets chained together and used as a prison by Fu.
In addition to the introduction of new characters, episode one saw Goku and an incarnation of Goku from a different timeline (Goku Xeno) briefly going head to head in battle – Goku transformed into his Super Saiyan Blue form while Goku Xeno turned into Super Saiyan 4. The second episode, titled “Goku Goes Berserk! The Evil Saiyan’s Rampage!,” will be shown at Jump Victory Carnival Tokyo Kaijo on July 16.
