Billie Eilish has released an acoustic rendition of Drake’s infamous single, “Hotline Bling.” The original track was released in July 2015 and served as the lead single for his 2016 album Views. It peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for five consecutive weeks and as of February 2016, the song sold over 2 million copies in the United States alone. Billie Eilish is a 16-year-old singer-songwriter best known for her viral single “Ocean Eyes” and has continuously performed “Hotline Bling” in her live setlists. Her newly released studio rendition finds Eilish singing over a ukulele. “CONGRATS ON SCORPION DRAKE i luv u dad,” Eilish wrote in a tweet that linked followers to the cover.
