The 2017 MTV Video Music Awards is taking place next month. Yesterday, July 25, the nominations were revealed: Kendrick Lamar comes in first place with the most nominations at eight nods, including “Video of the Year,” “Artist of the Year” and “Best Hip-Hop.” The Weeknd and Katy Perry each have five nominations, and Chance the Rapper, DJ Khaled and Ed Sheeran received multiple nods as well. The 34th MTV VMAs takes place on August 27 at The Forum in Inglewood, California. Check out the full list of nominations below.
