Converse Celebrates Kasina's 20-Year Reign in Korean Streetwear With New Pack
Starring Converse’s One Star and Chuck 70 Ox.
To celebrate Kasina’s 20-year reign over Korean streetwear, Converse delivers a two-part sneaker pack combing the One Star with the Chuck 70 Ox. In the accompanying press release, Converse states:
“A destination location for youth in a Korea, Kasina has played a powerful role in developing Seoul’s streetwear landscape. Opening its doors in 1997, the brand’s aesthetic is rooted in skate, but continues to push cultural boundaries offering the latest in streetwear for musicians, skaters and artists on the streets of Seoul.”
Both models come constructed with black leather uppers, black pinstripe details on the midsole, vibrant red accents, and clear outsoles featuring a star logo split between the left and right foot. Additionally, the One Star and Chuck 70 Ox showcase the Hanja character “女,” denoting the brand’s Korean namesake and its founding year “1997” on the heel.
The Kasina x Converse capsule will be available globally on converse.com and in-store at Kasina on July 13.
