UPDATE: Nike’s SNKRS platform just unveiled official images and an updated release date of July 10 for the Kobe 1 Protro “MPLS.” The commemorative model will be available tomorrow, 10 a.m. ET, for $175 USD. Learn more about the drop at Nike.com.


Kobe Bryant‘s first signature model is back to honor the days of Lakers’ past. Recently imagery has surfaced of the Nike Kobe 1 Protro “MPLS.” The updated take on Bryant’s debut Swoosh silhouette sees Wolf Grey/White-University Blue throughout. Kobe’s signature logo is added to the top of the tongue with “MPLS” hits placed at the middle of the tongue and behind it.

Retailing for $175 USD, the Nike Kobe 1 Protro “MPLS” arrives on July 6 at select Nike Basketball retailers.
