This Is Justin Vernon/Bon Iver Before the Fame

Justin Vernon/Bon Iver has been on a roll in recent months. In between new collaborations with James Blake and news of new albums, his name has been in headlines frequently in 2016. Now, some footage of Justin Vernon before all this fame has surfaced. The clip in question dates back to a 1998 Battle of the Bands competition, when Justin Vernon and his Mount Vernon band were struggling young musicians like everyone else.
