JAY-Z's '4:44' Could Also Be a Visual Album Similar to 'Lemonade'

A JAY-Z 4:44 full visual album feature could be dropping soon according to an Instagram post recently uploaded by Academy Award-winning actor Mahershala Ali. However, the artwork, which has the words “A Visual Album by Shawn Carter” written on it, was actually made by Barcelona-based artist PVTSO — the imagery has no connection to TIDAL or Roc Nation.
Still, this doesn’t mean we can discredit the release of a video for 4:44 similar to Beyonce’s Lemonade feature. Ali did a post Lupita Nyong’o's scene from the recent TIDAL teasers before the new image in question was posted. Plus, the promos which starred Ali and Nyong’o for the promos were really short. We’d hate for their talents to be limited to just a few quick previews. It would make much more sense for Mahershala Ali and Lupita Nyong’o to actually have been cast for much deeper and more meaningful roles as part of the new JAY-Z Project.
