Drake's 'VIEWS' Gets Knocked off the Top of the Charts by Blink-182
After an astounding nine weeks at No. 1.

Billboard are reporting that after an astounding nine weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Drake‘s VIEWS has been dethroned by Blink-182‘s new album California. Scoring their first No. 1 in over fifteen years, the beloved punk group (sans former key member and guitarist Tom DeLonge) secured the number one spot with 186,000 equivalent album unit sales. However, VIEWS is still performing incredibly well, falling only slightly behind at No. 2 with 117,000 units sold. With its impressive extended stay at the top, VIEWS became only the third hip hop album in chart history to hold onto the No. 1 spot for so long, edging out Eminem’s eight-week reign with The Marshall Mathers LP, but trailing behind Vanilla Ice’s 16-week stay with To The Extreme and MC Hammer’s insane 21 weeks at No. 1 with Please Hammer Don’t Hurt ‘Em.
