Nike Gives the Air Max 97 a Clean "Persian Violet" Makeover
Inspired by a classic Air Max BW colorway.
Following on from the “Purple Smoke” colorway, Nike has continued to roll out new takes on the Air Max 97 silhouette. The latest colorway to emerge sees the runner wrapped in an understated “Persian Violet” design, with the color palette inspired by a classic Air Max BW colorway.
The Air Max 97’s upper is predominantly monochrome, with the lower portion of the sneaker in white while the top half comes in black. This is offset by the “Persian Violet” purple, which appears subtly in the Air Max unit, lining, heel pull tab and outsole detailing. This colorway of the Air Max 97 is available now from retailers including the Eastbay web store.
